| 1. MANAGEMENT |

The Tournament shall be managed by BDASG Organizing Committee whose decisions in all matters relating to the competition shall be final. |

The Tournament shall be played over 36 holes based on aggregate scores on the two (2) Tournament competition days held alternately at RBA Golf Club (RBAGC) & Royal Brunei Golf & Country Club (RBGCC).

| 3. ELIGIBILITY |
|
|
|
Participation in the tournament shall be through the respective Senior Golfers Association Participants must be Senior Golfers who are: |

Amateurs in accordance with the Rule of Amateur Status |
|
| 3.2 |
|
Members of BDASG & the respective members of Sabah and Sarawak Senior Golfers Association. |
|
| 3.3 |
|
Fifty Five (55) Years & above on or before 29th October 2007 |
|
| 3.4 |
|
Possessing Certified USGA CLUB Handicaps |

| 4. ENTRY & PAYMENT OF FEES |
|
| 4.1 |
|
Entrance Fees shall be submitted through the respective Senior Golfers Associations not later than 24 October 2007. |
|

|
The Entrance Fee for the Tournament for each participant is B$150.00. The respective Senior Golfers Associations may transmit payment payable and advise accordingly to: |

| 5. RULES OF PLAY |
|
|
|
All play shall be in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R & A Rules and the local Rules of the RBA Golf Club and Royal Brunei Golf & Country Club. |
|
|
| 6. OFFICIAL HANDICAP DECLARATION |
|
|
|
Participants handicaps shall be based on the lowest of their respective clubs. |
|
|
| 7. TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION, SCORECARD & SOUVENIRS |
|
|
|
Participants registration & Scorecard issuance shall commence at 0645 0735 hrs. Souvenirs can be collected at the Registration Counter of both clubhouses. |
|
| 8. STARTING TIME & TEE BOX SCHEDULE |
|

|
Shot Gun starts at 0745 hrs (Siren). |
|
| 8.2 |
|
Participants must be at their DESIGNATED TEE BOXES 10 minutes before the stipulated tee off time. |
|

|
Rule 33-7 Penalty applies for failure to start on time is two (2) strokes. |
|
| 9. SLOW PLAY |
|
|
|
The attention of all competitors is drawn to Rule 6-7 regarding Undue delay. In the interest of fair play, the committee through the Tournament Director shall impose penalties provided by the rules if violated. |
|
| 10. FORMAT OF PLAY |
|
| 10.1 |
|
The Tournament shall be based on Stroke Play for both individual and team players over two (2) rounds. |
|
|
a. Group A 55 to 59 yrs |
|
|
b. Group B 60 to 64 yrs |
|
|
c. Group C 65 to 69 yrs |
|
|
d. Group D 70 to 74 yrs |
|
|
e. Group E 75 and above |
|
| 10.3 |
|
For Groups A, B, C and D the maximum handicap shall be 24 while for group E the maximum handicap shall be 36 and below. |
|
| 10.4 |
|
The maximum handicap for participants for the individual net championship and team net championship shall be 18 and below. |
|
| 10.5 |
|
The maximum handicap for participants for the individual gross championship and team gross championship shall be 12 and below. |
|

The Championship Challenge Trophy shall be awarded based on two (2) days aggregate gross score of the top 12 players of each State. |

In the event of tie for any prizes the count back shall start from the last 18 holes, the last 9 holes, the last 6 holes, the last 3 holes and the last hole. |

During the competition, use of handphones and pagers on the course is strictly prohibited. |
|
|
| 16. DECISIONS |
|
|
|
The Committee will appoint a Rules Committee under Rule 34-3 whose decisions on any dispute or doubtful point shall be final. |
|
|
| 17. AUTHORITY OF THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE |
|
|
|
The Tournament Director reserves the right to change any of the above rules of competition in the interest of the tournament. |
